Passage:
Luke 6:39-42 (ESV)
Matthew 23:23-24 (ESV)
Matthew 5:21-28 (ESV)

Friends of West Ridge,

Thanks for your interest in the “The Main Thing” message series.  This Sunday we will be reading from Matthew 23 and Luke 6.  Here are the texts:

13“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

15“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

~Matthew 23

39He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

~Luke 6

We will also be talking with some of our youth who are going to share God’s love with people on the Rose Bud Indian reservation this summer.

Grace and Truth,

Dave
